Back in the late 80ies, the upcoming of Acidhouse marked the beginning of his passion for this kind of music. First he was a record collector but in the end of 1991 he has started spinning records and since 1994he played in different clubs.
After years of DJ-ing all around Germany he started the independent label DO NOT RESIST THE BEAT! to release own material.

Manuel Fogliata, aka Nuel, is part of a new wave of techno coming from Italy, led by studio partner Donato Dozzy. Togheter Nuel and Dozzy have released two highly sought after Aquaplano EPs, now selling for hundreds of Euros in Discogs. The Aquaplano sounds explores hypnotic techno and meditative ambient in equal measure. Nuel is continuing to expand his musical horizons, with his latest EP explorig electro and drum and bass. In late 2011 he will release his debut album on Further Records , a beautiful and deeply introspective work.
